Data Deletion
Last updated 28 July 2026
Delete a single connection
Disconnecting a platform is the fastest way to remove that platform's data. In Zoppl, go to Settings → Connections, find the connection, and choose Disconnect.
On disconnect we immediately:
- revoke and destroy the stored OAuth tokens for that connection;
- stop all scheduled syncs against it;
- stop applying any approved or pending action to it.
The performance data already synced from that connection is deleted within 30 days. Audit records of changes previously approved are retained for 24 months, because they are the accountability record of who approved what.
Delete your whole account
An organisation administrator can request full deletion from Settings → Account, or by emailing inbound@zoppl.com from the address on the account.
We confirm the request, then delete all connections, credentials, synced platform data, reports and personal data within 30 days. Backups age out within a further 35 days. Invoices and records we must keep for tax and accounting law are retained; nothing else is.
Automated deletion requests from connected platforms
Some platforms let a person request deletion through the platform itself rather than through us. Zoppl implements those callbacks, verifies each request's signature, and honours it automatically:
- Meta data deletion request —
POST https://api.zoppl.com/meta/data-deletion. We verify the signed request against our app secret, queue deletion of that user's connections and credentials, and return a confirmation code plus a status URL so the request can be tracked. - Meta deauthorisation —
POST https://api.zoppl.com/meta/deauthorize. When someone removes the Zoppl app, Meta notifies us and we mark the affected connection disconnected and destroy its credentials without waiting for anyone to log in.
Checking the status of a request
Every deletion request gets a confirmation code. To check progress, email inbound@zoppl.com with that code. If a platform initiated the request on your behalf, the confirmation code was returned to that platform, which will surface it to you.
If you are not a Zoppl user
Agencies use Zoppl to manage marketing for their own clients. If an agency connected data concerning you, that agency is the controller and we act on its instruction — contact the agency directly. If you do not know who to contact, email inbound@zoppl.com with what you know and we will identify the responsible account and pass the request on.
